Entry #1 Blogging...the way it should and not be.

Blogging is probably one of the most creative inventions that anyone has ever thought of especially when it is ran by the internet. Beside all of the “obnoxious” social networks like Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook are ran by individuals that obviously didn’t have anything to do besides make a new addiction for the everyday American. When in blogging, it can also be addicting but in a productive and less childish way like many other social networks where you find to much of personal information from literally anyone.

Blogs have their own sense of getting the word out to anyone who is interested in reading that specific blog. Also, there are many different types of blogs. For instance, corporate blogs; where business is explained to the audience depending on the type of business. Along with business, it can be a market-like business that is spreading the word on products that they specialize in or make. Like Dell, Sony, Panasonic, Oakley, Coke, Pepsi, any many more to this list. Mainly the reason I enjoy business blogs is because I get to know something about a new product before anyone else hears about it, and also who else reads from the business blog. What was said by Josh Catone, Lead writer on Sitepoint.com, truly stated “that even if someone is not a fan of the corporation, the blogs are essentially informative, fascinating, and a joy to read.” August 8, 2008; News & Trends on Sitepoint.com

Such blogs like corporate blogs can be a real waste and dull moment time spent on reading the blog. Due to legal and public relations, “many blogs MUST be censored because the public may begin to complain on such strong language or the act of lying to an audience.” When many know that they don’t want the lies, more of the truth on such topic, many still tend to complain because of maybe just a few words or a paragraph in the blog. Personally, if they feel that they are going to be reading the wrong type of blog of their interests, why bother read it? If the opening statement is not amusing at all, do not read any further. Statement written by an Adam on blogtrepreneur.com on February 19, 2009. and when other blogger begin to really push the limits of a bad blog by adding in their own “creativity” of opinions really just dulls the page even more.

Who is CymJon 24?

Hello to the world of blogging!

Good afternoon, my name is Jonathan Laborin Cruz or you may call me any other form in my name. I'm currently in my second semester at Glendale Community College to recieve my Associates in the Arts by the the end of my fourth semester in Spring 2013. I have been in music ever since I was in third grade playing more than one instrument. Now I've been affiliated with percussion or what many say, "drums." Up until high school, I began to pick up percussion quickly until I found out that I had more of an experience and joy in playing any certain type of percussion instrument. It has been five years of me playing percussion, and only the beginning. For hobbies, I'm really into crafty things like bracelets, sewing, knitting, lanyard making etc...It is hard to believe at first but it has always interested me in how to make such cool like items like such. Also, many don't call it a hobby but I believe it is for me, to practice my music, instrument, anything that has something to do with music, I'm, on top of it trying to perfect it. All the practice pays off because I made a top of the line drumline in Peoria that competes with worldwide ensembles through the spring season. The ensemble goes by the name of Breakthrough Indoor Percussion. I ,along with four other musicians, the cymbals. may not seem like much, but man you have no clue! Never have I thought that I would someday play the cymbals for any ensemble but I pick them up so quickly that makese me go back for more everytime we ever play and could never set them down no matter how heavy they may be.

These glasses are known as the "hype" of the ensemble to let anyone know what ensemble we are as well as who we are together.

After I receive my AA from GCC, I'm planning on tranferring to Arizona State University in Tempe as a Music Education student to the Herberger Institute of the Arts. Along with the practice paying off in the long run, I had a job immediately after I graduating from my high school teaching the drumline there! Very pleased, I fulfilled my goal to teach such an inspiring group of individuals. I've always knew that teaching was what I want to achieve in life, and I'll do whatever I can to make it.

I want to take this moment to thank you for being interested in reading a short bio of who this person is unknown to you but now you know more than when you began reading. Hope to see you around this "cyber space of a blogging world"

Oh! I almost forgot, check out this video to see what I play in Breakthrough. This is a more top of the line ensemble, (not us) but it is a really great video on showing how great it is to be a cymbal player.

Those plate looking things on the hands? You play that? Yes, and yes they are heavy. Hard? Not neccessary...haha

-Cheers!
